Bill Korte, Interim Director, Learning Exchange Group, joined Search Institute’s senior management team in 2008 to organize the Learning Exchange Group. This group develops products and services to support the mission to help kids succeed; these efforts include publishing, training, survey services, an annual conference, and special projects.
Prior to joining Search Institute, he served in a range of nonprofit and for-profit organizations. He has been an executive leader in product development as well as marketing and sales. He is committed to building cross-functional teams that deliver practical and innovative solutions to consumers. Experienced in organizational management, he has developed numerous leading curriculum projects, launched successful new business projects, and achieved consecutive double-digit annual sales growth.
Korte most recently worked at Group Publishing in Loveland, Colorado, in various roles from product development to vice president of sales and marketing. He also managed new business development for Web-based services. During his time at Augsburg Fortress, Korte served on the executive team in the merger of two predecessor organizations into a new entity.
Bill earned a master’s degree in curriculum and supervision from Kansas State University and began his career as a school principal, teacher, and coach in the Midwest.
